Terms of use
Short, because the service is short: you describe a task, the site writes a prompt, you take it elsewhere.
Last updated 14 September 2026
Prompt Writer is operated by Digsil. Using the site means you accept these terms.
What the service is
Prompt Writer turns a short description into a structured prompt. It does not answer your question, and it does not run the prompt for you. You take the result to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney or wherever you were going, and that provider has its own terms which apply to what happens there.
Who owns what
The text you type is yours. The prompt the site produces from it is yours too: use it commercially, edit it, publish it, no attribution required and no licence needed from us. The site itself — its design, its written guidance and the engine behind the generator — remains ours.
Accounts
Accounts are free and optional. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account. You can delete your account at any time from the account page, and doing so removes it straight away.
Fair use
Free use is capped at 5 prompts a day without an account and 20 with one. Please do not script the generator, route it through a proxy pool to get around the cap, resell access to it, or use it to produce material that is illegal where you are. Accounts doing any of that may be closed without notice.
No warranty
The service is provided as it is. A generated prompt is a starting point, not a guarantee: the model that eventually reads it may still produce something wrong, unsuitable or unusable. Check the result before you rely on it, especially for anything legal, medical, financial or safety-related. To the extent the law allows, Digsil is not liable for losses arising from use of the site or of anything produced with it.
Availability
This is a free tool run by one developer. It may be slow, briefly unavailable, or changed without notice. No uptime is promised. If a paid tier is ever added, the free daily allowance described above stays in place.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in substance, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.
